I'm deeply honored to serve as Acting Principal this year at George Cox Elementary. Last year as Assistant Principal, I came to know and love or school and all the wonderful students, parents, grandparents, aunts/uncles and faculty/staff that comprises our Cougar Cub community.This year we will continue on our path towards academic and social/emotional growth. I am thankful to have such an amazing faculty/staff to best help serve or dynamic students and their families. Simply put, this school year, we are going to work holistically to achieve the goal of every single Cougar Cub mastering their respective grades content and treating their peers, teachers and staff with kindness and understanding.

  We are all players on the same Cougar Cox tean and we will strive for championionships this year! However, to become champions, team work, hard work, and leadership is of the utmost importance to hoist those trophies! We as a faculty/staff are deeply committed to showing up every single day to put in the effort to best serve our student body and community.
